Family Law

Arguing

Life Transitions can be difficult.

Divorce, custody and parenting time issues are ones where you need an experienced representative assisting you.  I have assisted hundreds of clients through all areas of Family Law.  Just as no two people are alike, every divorce is unique.

What you can expect:

  • Initial Consultation: At our initial meeting we will go over the process of a divorce, the issues we can expect in your particular case, strategy to address the issues and begin working together to achieve the results you want.
  • Timeframe:  In Michigan, divorce minimum timeframes are dictated by statute.  A divorce with children takes a minimum of 6 months.  A divorce without children takes a minimum of 60 days.
  • Temporary orders:  These are the inital orders dealing with custody, parenting time, support, and property while the divorce is pending.

Post Judgment Actions - when you need to enforce or change a provision of a judgment.
